The Torpedo Triple with Lift up Lid is a three compartment recycling bin, with the benefit of a lift up lid for ease of use. What is this bin manufactured from? This bin is manufactured from 2mm hot dipped galvanised steel, expertly primed and powder coated in your choice of RAL colour with a sloped lid that prevents any litter being left on top of the unit. This Torpedo features a lift up hinged top section with integrated sack retention frame, nylon glides are also fitted to the base of the bin stop any floor marking. Does this bin come with any warranties? As with all of our galvanised steel litter bins, this Torpedo comes with a standard 1 year parts and labour guarantee and a 10 year anti-perforation warranty, this guarantees the surface of our products from rusting through completely. This Torpedo Triple has a total capacity of 162 litres with three separate compartments to collect your chosen waste stream, keeping it segregated to avoid cross contamination. Where should I put this bin? The stylish curved design is best suited for contemporary environments such as airports, shopping centres and universities, The lift up lid is ideal for busy areas where it would be difficult to open the front opening doors for empting. How do I empty this bin? This unit has the same stylish look of the standard Torpedo unit, with a lift up lid that eliminates the need for doors to the front. The sack retention frames are easily accessible when the lid is opened, which allows you to quickly and easily lift out the internal L4 and L5 liners for emptying. The lockable lift up lid features a soft closing mechanism, which means the lid closes slowly and in a controlled manner to avoid slamming. Can I customise this bin? All of our Torpedo units are available with your choice of waste stream, which comes as standard with WRAP/Recycle Now branding to the aperture fascia plates. If you are looking to personalise your recycling bin with logos or artwork, we do offer a full in-house bespoke design service.
