SOHO Commercial Status Update - Covid-19

SOHO Commercial Status Update - Covid-19

Following the latest announcement made by the Prime Minister, SOHO Commercial has been forced to ensure that all staff who are able begin working from home with immediate effect. While all homeworkers are able to gain access to email, at this time a limited number of sales representatives are able to take calls, so your patience is appreciated. We hope to have the full team ready to take your calls in the coming days but some disruption to the service we offer is likely. If you deal with a specific representative, please email them directly. Alternatively, you can contact us at sales@sohocommercial.com

Can I still place an order?

At present, orders can still be placed through all websites that are part of the SOHO family (see links below), email and, when call redirection is up and running, the telephone.

When will my order be despatched?

On site, we have a small but dedicated despatch team. Whilst they are working tirelessly to ensure all products are packaged and sent in good time, there is the potential for delays. We appreciate that these items could be vital in preventing the spread of Covid-19, but we can assure you that everything is being done to fulfil orders in timely fashion. If you have questions or concerns regarding your order and its status, please contact us at sales@sohocommercial.com

At this time all our courier and freight services are continuing as normal and we endeavour to apply tracking details where applicable.

Can I collect my order?

We are currently requesting all customers refrain from making collections unless prior agreement has been sought from your sales representative. This is to keep in line with parliamentary instruction and protect our small despatch team from the risk of infection.

I’m making a collection as agreed with my sales representative. Is there a procedure to follow?

  • Do not approach any member of the despatch team.
  • Items will be placed on a pallet from which you must keep a minimum of two metres distance.
  • Once the member of despatch has gathered all items, and is a safe distance away, you can begin removing goods from the pallet into your vehicle.
  • You must use your own pen to sign the paperwork which will be left with the goods.
  • Of the two pages of the collection note, one is a customer copy which you must take. Leave the signed copy for despatch team.
  • If an agreement for collection has been made, but the driver is displaying cold or flu-like symptoms, the collection MUST be cancelled.

As the situation surrounding the Covid-19 pandemic is constantly evolving, so to does the response required by all businesses. We urge all customers to monitor social media channels and blog pages to ensure that they have the latest information regarding the status of Soho Commercial. Where possible, we will attempt to provide daily updates in a bid to reduce the level of disruption and inconvenience caused.

Finally, we would like to thank all our customers, who we value greatly, for the support and patience shown as the unprecedented challenge we face unfolds. We remind you to wash your hands regularly, use hand santiser and maintain social distancing. Most of all, we hope you all keep safe.
